Their wedding clothes also reflect the societies and cultures that created and preserved them. This exhibition draws on the extensive collection of clothing expert and historian Steven Porterfield and showcases the ever changing fashion trends of the past two centuries. This beautiful exhibition explores the compelling history of the white wedding and its iconic stature in Western cultures.
